Callidus Design has been appointed as the M&E Consultants as part of a multi discipline team to provide a Term Consultancy Service for NHS Shetland. The first task of the new design team is to quickly and accurately design a number of small upgrade projects. Accurate survey works will be required to ensure that the projects can be designed and implemented with minimum disruption to the hospitals. The upgrade projects include improved dirty utility & sluice facilities and an extension to the Renal department at the Gilbert Bain Hospital in Lerwick as well as upgrades to the LDUs at Brae and Yell Health Centres.
